the Elite Graduate Program in East European Studies (Munich/Regensburg) will welcome its twenty-first cohort in the winter semester of 2024/25. The two-year interdisciplinary MA programme in East European Studies is directed at excellent students with a first degree (usually BA), fluency in German and basic knowledge of at least one East European language. The programme’s goal is to convey interdisciplinary knowledge of East, East-Central and South-Eastern Europe. Students can enroll in Munich or Regensburg and choose a variety of subject combinations. Key transferable skills are taught in project courses, summer schools in Eastern Europe, an obligatory work placement, and through optional, exclusive soft skill seminars of the Elite Network of Bavaria.
